Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
* Grab your current read
* Open to a random page
* Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
* BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
* Share the title and author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
I’m not feeling terribly well at the moment so I went to bed early last night with a new book. My concentration span was not good so I skipped past my To Be Read pile and went for one I’d read before, one that I knew would be an easy read. It was a good idea as I put it down after only a couple of pages and went to sleep. But finding two sentences together that I’m happy with typing out is challenging so you’ve only got one, it’s the end of the paragraph and the one before it has a typo so I refuse to type it out…that’s my excuse and I’m afraid I’ll be sticking with it.
So was the mystery explained – the female on land, using her lungs to breathe with for the most part; whereas her husband in his watery lair found the hairs a very useful addition, for much of his time was spent beneath the water.
Are we talking Beagles or something else?
Thanks for visiting my teaser.
That’s a very good question. If I tell you then you might not want to read the book, on the other hand…
Hope you feel better soon- sometimes settling in with a friendly book can help 🙂
Thank you, yes you’re absolutely right and I do feel better this evening.
Sorry you’re not feeling so great. Your teaser definitely had me pause. Gotta love the old faithfuls that bring us comfort. Thanks for sharing
Come read my teaser from Noah by Jacquelyn Frank
Thanks for stopping by and for wishing me well. I’m definitely feeling better and now I can’t sleep, so I read your teaser instead.
Hope you’re feeling better.
Nice teaser and going to look up this book on Goodreads.
Yes thank you. It’s a great book, in a series of great books. Well worth the read.
