I’ve casually mentioned 1984 in a brief article by George Orwell only a few months ago. What far too many of us couldn’t anticipate is that this book would now be rocketing up the charts and selling out. If you want a particular copy you might be waiting a while as Signet has sold out, but there are many other copies out there. I’ve linked to one with the photo of my book.

But why is it selling so well? It’s probably the best textbook we have to the current situation. In part, this book talks about changing history as the leaders change their minds as to who they’re currently fighting.

If you want more reading matter then you can’t go past these books. I’ve put in affiliate links to all three books, trying to choose nice covers with cheap prices. They are all dystopian fiction depicting problems in society, some of which are playing out right now.

Brave New World by Aldous Huxley
Animal Farm by George Orwell
Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury
