I am GOLD, wanted by everyman and everywoman. Treasured, I am treasured, even the Queen wants me.

I was waylaid, my journey to the Queen derailed. Happy I was to be travelling towards the Queen, she has the dignity and standing to be my owner. But a few miles to go to our destination and I was waylaid by a cunning rogue.

Lord Ruxbury held up my guards and took me for his own. Clever he is for he masqueraded as a pig farmer and sent the guards on their way looking for three men when there was but one. He hid me underground.

The Lady Grace is clever and resourceful, she found me and took me to my Queen. I know not her story of how she found me nor how she had the forethought and courage to pursue her thoughts about where she might find me but both the Queen and I are full of gratitude for her work.
