Cecilia be my Holie Nayme. Brother Ambrose hid me in a corner four hundred years previous to now, dangerous it was to be of value and in playn sight so hid me he did. Finallie have I been found and brought into the light again to be rung in pleasure and joye.

Mr Edwards, the farmer, did find me on that daye, cleaning me down and making me presentable. The ladies who now own the Abbey had me hung again. Rung for the party I was, the handsel for the Tithe Barn. ‘Twas a good party, started and finished well by my contralto voice. Everyone be glad to hear my voice, glad I be to be hung in playn view once more with my voice no longer stifled. Gladder will I be when Holie Michael be also found and brought to be with me.

Made for the Monks, I be, made with Holie Michael to prayse ye Lorde. Dangerous times came upon us and hid we were until such time as ’twas safe to be brought out into the open again. ‘Twill be good when we be both together and rung for Matins once more.
