Thanks to everyone for your good wishes, it was a terrible virus. It sounded quite musical here with everyone coughing in different keys and tunes and we’re all quite glad to be listening to normal music. I’m just about caught up with all the house type things that didn’t get done during the week, I feel it’s now time to write. You’d expect with all that time spent in bed I would have read stacks of books and my To Be Read Pile would be looking much better, unfortunately I only had the energy to read for the last two days and I chose my library books.

Today I’m going to give you a little run down on what to expect over the next two or three weeks. I may include other things as well but these are things I’ll be looking at:

  • How to find out if your child may need an eye patch test
  • My adventures in Hawthorn
  • Some thoughts about some awesome writing out there

Book reviews:

  • Tumble Turns by Shane Gould
  • Murder In Mississippi by John Safran
  • A Fatal Tide by Steve Sailah
  • How I Live Now by Meg Rosoff
  • Secrets and Sisterhood by Jenny Pausacker

Mondayitis:

  • Slave Girl by Patricia McKissack
  • Rescue on Nim’s Island by Wendy Orr
