My brilliantly aptly named new series continues. Where I randomly select two books from my shelves and attempt to find a link. I do not promise it will be a good link, only that it will be a link. It might be anything at all. One thing I do promise is that the link will not be due to the books both containing words such as ‘and’ or ‘the’, although having said that it’d be really awesome to now find two books totally missing both of those words.
The books I chose last week were Medea and other plays by Euripides and The Agatha Christie Crossword Puzzle Book compiled by Randall Toye & Judith Hawkins Gaffney. Stay tuned to find out if I’ve actually got a link.
The Books
Medea and other plays by Euripides contains plays that are often studied at school. All of them are classical Greek plays depicting Greek legends. I studied Medea, it was interesting but challenging. The affiliate link in the photo should go to the correct edition studied at school.
The Agatha Christie Crossword Puzzle Book is exactly what it says. It’s full of crosswords and word finds using clues from the books by Agatha Christie. I’ve not done any of them, in fact I’ve barely opened it up. Why do I have it? Because is the only reason I have.

This week just proves how random my choices are.
I’m not sure if this is a real link or one only in my mind so here goes. Understanding Medea or any of these plays is a bit like wording on a crossword puzzle, you have to have some of the pieces in before you can put in others. When studying the plays at school we’re given some of the answers and then assisted to find some of the other answers.
