Chronologically the first novel about Liquor characters Rickey and G-man (though it was actually written soon after Liquor), this is the story of their teenage years in New Orleans, the beginning of their relationship, their earliest restaurant jobs, and Rickey’s brief but educational stint at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York.
This hardcover volume was published by Subterranean Press in 2003, the Dustjacket is copyright 2002, it is a stated First Edition. This is an ex-library book, the dustjacket is covered carefully in clear plastic with appropriate stickers and stamps. Other than that the book itself is in excellent condition with extremely little wear, the dustjacket has mostly been protected by the plastic and has only a smidgeon of bumping to the edges. This is signed by the author.
