The book is one long poem about a thirteen-year-old boy whose family has just moved to Melbourne as his dad has just died. Being the new boy in school is terrible, everything goes wrong and he just wants to go back to the bush. Then he meets Lance and things start to change. This softcover volume was published by Cassell & Company Ltd in 1975. It has no reading creases, just a little bumping to the corners and a little waterstain near the spine. There is a place for a fold along the spine and it has been used.
