This is one for the collector. It doesn't have a date on it, but I've been on a whirlwind tour of the web and have only found copies from 1951 with the same cover and description.
It's a gorgeous little story about two children whose uncle take them to the circus. The innocence of youth is lovely to read about and I wish I could enjoy a circus in the same way.
Yes, there is wear. It's fairly general wear and hard to describe. The corners are slightly bumped, the edges are slightly rubbed, the pages have some age spots and there is general wear all over. It does have a name written on the front in pencil which I'm not game to rub off.
