The Aftermath

That’s actually a good name for a short story or a post-apocalyptic novel…must think about that.

Following on from my short article last Monday I’m giving a few more details. It’s been an interesting fortnight and one I don’t want anyone to repeat. I know my physio is a nice man but I’ve seen far too much of him recently and I need to see him later today. He’s going to have a look at me and hopefully drop my pain meds some more, if I can get down to one type of medication things should improve and I’ll be able to think a bit more clearly. He did give me the all clear to start back into my normal routine with the proviso that I took it easy and didn’t do too much in one day i.e. breaking the housework tasks down to one a day rather than doing everything one after another. He was also brave enough to let me do my market stall on Saturday, again with a proviso that I get help filling and emptying the car. So I did all of that, accompanied by the pain killers and I think I’ve come out of it in better condition than other market stalls I’ve done. I may help my sister with more stalls but I don’t expect to be selling many books as that’s something that didn’t happen a lot, she did well with her Ginger Ale, and I enjoyed doing the quality control.

I’m hoping to get back to some writing as I have plenty of ideas, or had plenty of ideas if I can only remember them…
